Drawing Pokémon can be a fun and rewarding experience for fans of all ages. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you draw your favorite Pokémon, starting with Pikachu.
Step-by-Step Guide to Drawing Pikachu
Materials Needed
- Paper
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Colored pencils or markers
Step 1: Draw the Head
Start by drawing a large circle for Pikachu’s head. Add two smaller circles on top for the ears.
Step 2: Draw the Body
Below the head, draw a smaller oval shape for the body. Make sure it’s proportionate to the head.
Step 3: Add the Ears and Tail
Draw Pikachu’s long, pointed ears on top of the head. Then, draw a lightning bolt-shaped tail extending from the side of the body.
Step 4: Add Facial Features
Draw two large oval eyes, a small nose, and a mouth. Add the cheeks by drawing two small circles on either side of the mouth.
Step 5: Draw the Limbs
Add Pikachu’s arms and legs using simple shapes. The arms should be short and stubby, while the legs should be slightly longer.
Step 6: Finalize and Color
Outline your drawing with a darker pencil or pen. Erase any unnecessary lines. Finally, color Pikachu using yellow for the body, red for the cheeks, black for the ear tips, and brown for the tail.
