Our Origin

Born by the British Coast

Seakoff was founded in the UK by Elliot Koffman, shaped by the contrast of British coastal streets, underground music, vintage markets and young people building their identity through clothes.

Growing up near Brighton, Elliot was surrounded by grey seaside mornings, old gig posters, second-hand denim, football terraces, washed hoodies and people who mixed whatever felt true to them. Style was not about expensive labels. It was about attitude, confidence and the way a piece of clothing could say something before you did.

Together with early creative partner Maya Collins, Elliot began collecting references from Y2K graphics, gothic typography, punk flyers, retro sportswear, racing visuals and worn-in streetwear staples. What started as a small idea became a brand built around real-life outfits with underground energy.

The Meaning of Seakoff

Seakoff is pronounced “SEE-koff”.

The name combines Sea and Koff. “Sea” reflects the British coastline where the idea first took shape — a symbol of movement, freedom and constant change. “Koff” comes from the founder’s family name, Koffman, while also carrying the feeling of kick off and cast off: starting something new and shaking off old rules.

To us, Seakoff means seeing yourself clearly and casting off the noise around you.

Elliot Koffman founded Seakoff with the belief that personal style should not be locked behind luxury pricing. His creative direction is shaped by British street culture, coastal cities, vintage markets, football terraces, punk music and everyday people who use clothing as self-expression.

Maya Collins

Early Creative Partner

Maya Collins helped shape Seakoff’s early visual language through her love of Y2K graphics, gothic type, underground zines, music posters and retro sports visuals. Her influence can be felt in the brand’s graphic-led collections and darker streetwear mood.
